Notice what a difference molding around a front door can make. The top photo has just the builder's original doorframe. The second photo is my front door with nice moldings surrounding the door. Makes quite a difference! It was Jan's suggestion and any carpenter can do this easily. (Yes, I know I need a new doormat--just ordered one from Grandinroad. I like black edging with an initial. The initial on my current doormat is worn off completely)
